He said the discovery of illegal cash transfers by Bakiyev"s family had forced the authorities to impose a number of restrictions and asked businessman and entrepreneurs to show understanding.
The interim government previously took seven large Kyrgyz commercial banks under its temporary control and froze until June 1 all transactions related to the transfer of assets.
"We have succeeded in taking complete control of all bank payments. But an investigation... is still expected," he said.
Allegations of shady business affairs were a major factor in the protests in northern Kyrgyzstan that turned violent last week, when more than 80 people were killed and over 1,500 were injured in the unrest that swept the opposition to power.
